OUR STORY

Grovely has been producing puzzles for over 25 years and has been manufacturing their own puzzles in the Dorset factory since 2008.

 

One of only a handful of UK puzzle manufacturers left, the company has now moved on to making wooden puzzles as well as the traditional cardboard, continuing a tradition that is thought to have started around 1760.

 

Although methods of cutting are now laser based not traditional hand cutting with saws, puzzles are still beautifully cut, with or without whimsey pieces in the cutting pattern.

 

Run from a converted cowbarn in rural Dorset, every part of the puzzle and box are made in house. The factory is a manned by a small, dedicated staff, with years of experience in puzzle and box making.

 

As a manufacturer we can offer a wide choice of images, various cut sizes and boxes to suit our customers. Most of our own images can be made in selected sizes as standard.

 

Bespoke custom puzzles are also available using images supplied by our clients, and boxes can be designed to suit with full client personalisation.
